The Power of Music is one of the most heartwarming side quests in Final Fantasy VII Remake, offering players a break from combat while exploring Wall Market. Initiated by a young girl named Betty in Chapter 14, this objective tasks Cloud with collecting specific music discs to lift the spirits of local residents. Completing this assignment provides valuable character progression items that make upcoming battles easier.

Starting the Quest in Wall Market

Players can unlock this side mission upon reaching Chapter 14 in the Sector 6 Slums. Betty can be found in an alleyway near the main square, standing right beside a jukebox. Speaking with her reveals that the locals are feeling down, and playing comforting songs on the jukebox will help cheer them up.

To assist Betty, Cloud must search the surrounding area to retrieve three specific music tracks. Thankfully, all three required collectibles are located directly within Wall Market, eliminating the need for long-distance travel.

Locating the Required Music Discs

The first track, Good Night, Until Tomorrow, is obtained by speaking to an elderly man inside the Wall Market hotel lobby. The second song, Fight On!, can be purchased for fifty gil from the souvenir shop clerk inside Corneo's Colosseum. The final disc, Stand Up, is handed over by a woman standing in the alleyway adjacent to the Honeybee Inn entrance.

Once all three music discs are secured, return to the jukebox near Betty to play each track. Watching the townspeople react to the music brings life back to the district and successfully completes the objective.

Quest Rewards and Character Benefits

Finishing the quest awards players with full HP and MP restoration alongside a crucial key item. The primary reward is the Sharpshooter's Companion Vol. III manuscript, which grants additional skill points specifically for Barret. These points allow players to unlock key node upgrades on Barret's weapons to boost his offensive and defensive capabilities.

In addition to character skill points, collecting these tracks contributes toward completing your overall music collection for trophies. Taking the time to finish this optional story line offers both gameplay advantages and narrative depth during Chapter 14.
